It has a camera, is controlled via wireless connection, and can move forwards and backwards inside a colon. Italian researchers are calling it the "spider pill," and hoping it will provide an alternative to traditional endoscopic examinations.

It might work, as long as they stop calling it "spider pill." Who wants to swallow a spider?
