A police department in Arizona is looking for a grant to train a capuchin monkey for their SWAT team. Capuchins are highly intelligent and sociable and are often trained to aid paraplegics. Tiny, with dextrous hands and good climbing skills, the theory is that the monkey would make an excellent scout and camera-carrier. See the CNN story.
