December 15, 2012: Geek Gifts Galore

I went around and asked a bunch of my co-workers to recommend a geeky gift idea. Here's some of what I got:

• A miniature wriggling tentacle that plugs into a USB port. That's actually all it does, but how cool is that? (Thanks, Steve! Also, eeeeuuuuuuwwww.)
• Bathrobes patterned after Jedi robes, for the best cosplay no one will ever see you do. (Thanks, Darryll!)
• A USS Enterprise pizza cutter. My personal favorite. (Thanks, Bridget!)
• Wearable cat ears that move in response to your brainwaves. I don't know whether to be fascinated or creeped out by this. (Thanks again, Bridget!)
• Doctor Who over-the-knee socks, for the Whovian lady in your life. Or, you know, for you. (Okay, Bridget, I get the hint.)
• Walking Dead bobblehead dolls. Because ironic inversion of tone is funny, I guess? (Thanks, Andrew!)

And of course, there's my default -- basically anything from ThinkGeek.
